My Dear Friends,
I want to make a formal apology to Brock and all my OLF friends for getting upset with Brock's sense of humor. He did nothing wrong...it was just bad timming.
I never meant to say the things I said. Brock...Please forgive me if you can for my rude and impulsive behavior.
I have not been feeling well and then the dumb computer problems.
If you will accept my apology I would appreciate it very much.
I love each and everyone on the OLF. We're a family and I value all of you very much.

The computer is just a piece of man made junk, but a friend like you brock are priceless to us all!!

Let's erase yesterday and forget it ever happened.
I'm just a human being...fallable in every way!

Kindest Regards, Walter

Walter, computers bring out the worst in many of us, and at some point we've all been there. I'm glad you'll still be hanging around here.

As PaulB wrote, "Good on you Walter". Of course that sounds much better with a Crocodile-hunter-esque accent than it does with my "Aye ya hey der now" Northwoods accent.
Point being: Good for you Walter! Glad that's all cleared up.
Best wishes, PPwoolson38687.3191203704

Thanks Walter. Seriously... I didn't take offense by your remarks and I was not upset. I did, however, feel bad that you mis interpreted my intention.

I am just about the most laid back guy you will ever meet. So have no worries, I am completely cool.

I haven't been on this forum long, but posts like this make me realize I've come to the right place!

Walter: I've been a software engineer since 1985, and I consider myself pretty computer savy, and every day, at least once a day I wanna take the dang thing and beat it to death with a sledge hammer!

Anyway, I love this display of comaraderie and honesty. VERY cool!

Regards,

Walter, it takes a big man to admit error. I'm glad to see that you thought it through and will still be with us. I, for one, need all the help I can get.

I've got a little story for you

My brother is an aircraft engineer, and once got suspended for throwing the stores computer across the room monitor and then cpu, because it was playing up when he was trying to look up a part ref for a plane he needed to turn around.
